Hello Saturday!
A high of 58 degrees is in the forecast for today so I think I’ll work on getting my lettuce seeds going in the pots on the front porch and maybe start a soup.
It looks a bit cloudy out there and who doesn’t like soup on a cloudy day, right?
On the agenda for today:
- Go for a walk
- Plant lettuce seeds
- Make a pot of soup
- Make a loaf of bread
- Bake a few cookies
- Make a plan of cleaning out the craft room
- Work on latest rug
That’s it. How about YOU? What’s on your list for today? Anything exciting?
Have a good one,
~Mavis

Our weather will be cloudy with a high of 87 today.
For today:
1) laundry
2) tidy up the bathrooms
3) take photos of new items and get them listed on Etsy
4) see what needs to be done in the garden
5) pump up the bicycle tires and change out the seat
6) figure out what to make for dinner

High of 77 today in NE Ohio, the coolest day since Tuesday (we were averaging low 80’s.) On the agenda for today: laundry, normal house cleaning (both done by 7AM yay!), fun shenanigans with my sister. It’s a glorious day for shenanigans.

A very unusual 83 degrees here in northern New York. We usually aren’t this warm in summer! On my agenda for today: pick up my new eyeglasses, help hubby with raking the front lawn, check out the garden to see how the garlic is doing, up-pot some plants that are growing way faster than I thought they would. After all that I think I’ll take a nap on the back porch! Have a great weekend!

A lovely day in California, went to the city compost give away -the secret was to arrive a few minutes before closing-and they filled my SUV with 10 bags of mulch as they had extra! Lucky me. It’s 2 bag per person, but they didn’t want to hall it away, and I just said-fill it up! I came home and planted 10 new plants, gave my garden a fresh fill of compost and let nature do its job.
My dog is recovering from ACL surgery, so he is laying at my feet as I knit another Fair Ilse-ish hat. Practice, practice, practice.

We’re having a late start to spring her in the PNW. Our high today was 57° and we’re still seeing lows in the low 30’s at night once in a while. I have lots of starts in the greenhouse, but it’s still too chilly to put much out into the garden. We mowed the pastures and orchard this afternoon and fertilized and mulched the blueberries.
