We are about to have a rainy day – which is OK as it will water the garden.
So, for today:
1) laundry
2) tidy up the bathrooms
3) make Easter bread
4) work on some new items for Etsy shop
5) make corned beef & cabbage for dinner

Rainy and cool here. This past week was beautiful and in the 80s. Drastic change in just one day. But that’s Alabama for you. 🙂 I am about to start on some freezer meals and prep for meals next week. Tonight I’m going to meet with my daughter to (hopefully) finalize some wedding plans. We are getting close!

My day is much the same as the past week, sit with my husband and talk when he’s awake, eat a couple of times, and love on my baby when I get back to my sister’s house where he and I are staying so he’s cared for. Sunday my husband’s body decided to try to die but doctors came thru and kept him here for me. So grateful for family and friends and all of the assistance we are getting in all forms.
Thank you for this blog, Mavis. It’s a delight to see green things growing and Lucy sunning and hear all about life outside of CVICU.

Oh Cecelia- I am so sorry to hear of your husband. The ICU is a cold noisy and exhausting place, I hope you find some solace here. You are among friends who are all collectively sending you love.

Praying for you and your family. (And isn’t modern medicine wonderful?,)

… basically every Saturday, when you say “What’s on your list today?” my brain helpfully supplies the jingle “You’ll find it at Fred Meyers” despite the fact that it’s been about 20 years since I lived near one of their stores…
We’ve got tomato seedlings that need to be transplanted to larger pots, but that’s probably not a today thing. Maybe Monday? Today has been an organizational day, mostly, so far. Hoping to get some photos sorted as well.

Sewing coronation outfits for the youngest 2 greats, then designing the buttons. Need to get these posted early this coming week. In between, celebrating OH’s birthday and minding the grandpuppy.
