Hello Saturday!
Sunny, a high of 74 and a light breeze. Pretty much perfect if you ask me. 🙂
On the agenda for today:
- Pack up orders and ship them on out
- Check out the rummage/bake sale going on at the Church
- Take Lucy for a ride in the dinghy {her favorite summer activity!}
- Pull weeds in the religious family sized vegetable garden
- Continue working on my latest rug {It’s the biggest one I’ve made yet!}
- Clean up the craft room
- Fried cabbage and bacon for dinner?
- Plant a tray of cabbage seeds
How about YOU? What are YOUR plans for today? Is this time of year a hard one for your dogs too?
Have a good one,
~Mavis

Strawberry Short Sheet Cake : This sheet cake version of strawberry shortcake is dessert perfection. It’s sweet but not overwhelmingly so. You can of course sweeten it up as much as you want with some whipped cream or ice cream!

You are very fortunate Mavis to have 74° weather! That’s awesome. In Georgia, the heat index has been 105-110°F. Early morning is the best time for our outdoor activities. I feel for the landscapers and roofers. Don’t know how they stand the heat…..That ride on the water looks So inviting!
