Today I am doing adultish things. Yuck. My hubby pulled out the fridge so I could clean the coils and of course it has turned into a huge mess. Taking a break now to refocus because I had no idea how dirty it was under and behind my fridge and I am in a little shock. 🙂 Also today I want to start a home insurance replacement cost list. Fun fun. And if possible I need to get a couple of freezer meals made so we can eat at home next week on the days I do my part-time job. Already looking forward to crawling into bed tonight with a good book and it’s only 9:00 AM. 🙂

1) Read a David Baldacci novel. I enjoy thrillers/mysteries and favorite authors tend to be David Baldacci and James Patterson.
2) At mom’s cottage and am cleaning out garage. Taking some items home to sell on FB Marketplace and eBay as well as a polebarn (garage/yard) sale.
3) Walked Daisy and found.a brand new metal planter being tossed and newer bathtub shampoo/conditioner holder which I will put in the polebarn sale.
4) Car mostly packed to return home tomorrow. My plans-are yo have Fri – Mon polebarn sale over Labor Day weekend. After that will probably do a polebarn sale on Sat and by appt through Oct. I do plan on coming back yo mom’s in mid Sept and once in Oct.

“Make sure the HH finishes the kitchen today”….I’m sure you will have more success with this task than I am having with my HH. He started a “remodel the master bedroom and bathroom project several months ago…and as I predicted stopped midstream and to say I’m tired of walking on subfloor to go into my bathroom would be an understatement. This weekend I’m trying a new technique..I wrote myself a list of chores and placed the list in a prominent location so he would feel compelled to work on his project. It’s working so far…and I’ve gotten a lot done today.

Sticky notes and lists are the key!! 🙂 Good luck.
Beth says
Sticky notes?! I will try that….as I type, he is upstairs working on his project and he worked on it yesterday….progress is happening!
