LOVE LOVE LOVE USA bakeware. And this is a great deal (wish I needed some but I’m fully stocked).

Finishing my coffee now and I’m about to get started on several things. On the list today: 1. Do some freezer cooking to get ahead for the next few weeks. 2. Re-organize the pantry. 3. Pay the bills. 4. Laundry, laundry, laundry. 5. Keep an eye out because our two goats keep finding ways to get out and munch on my flowers. They have nothing to do but eat and find ways to get out of the pasture. They use their time well. 🙂

I’m enjoying the fact that after more than two months, we finally have both a working oven and dishwasher. I’m hoping to try out a new casserole recipe tonight and then serve it on something other than paper plates.

Haha! Love hearing the kitchen remodeling complaints! Husband is a cabinet maker so when it was finally my turn my oven was in my living room and fridge in the dining room. My kids to this day hate frozen pizza so I guess that’s a win! Enjoy using your real dishes!
Mel says
Oh, we didn’t remodel. We just bought a house that was filled with new but substandard appliances. The oven was the last of the original major appliances, so I expected it to stop working, but we replaced the dishwasher a few years ago, so that was a surprise. My husband had a hard time accepting the betrayal of not one but two dishwashers, so he was slow to order a new one as he moved through the stages of appliance grief: denial, anger, trying to fix it himself, finding additional issues with it, more anger and denial, and finally Best Buy.
We will have to remodel the kitchen eventually because our cabinets are particle board and are already falling apart (which will start a domino effect of needing to replace our first floor hardwood floors), but I’m hoping that won’t be for a while.

Mel, I love your stages of appliance grief! LOL! My husband is the same way. My husband refuses to use the dishwasher. Says he doesn’t want to have to fix it and he will wash the dishes. I thought after about 2 weeks of washing the dishes he would give in and use it. Nope! It has been 5 years and he still washes all the dishes. Husbands can be weird sometimes!

Thank you so much for the HEADS UP on the USA Pans. You introduced me to them back when you ordered the muffin tin. I’ve since ordered 5 USA Pans, which I love. Today after reading about their special deal, I ordered 3 more. They’re expensive but such high quality. Thanks again.
