If you can hold on one month for Manchester by the Sea it come out on Amazon Prime Video on May 5. You could save your credits. However if you choose not to… it’s a great movie

It’s an exceptionally well done movie. Tough subject. Not a feel good film — but the acting will knock your socks off and it’s beautifully done.

I could not wait to watch Manchester By The Sea on Amazon. I paid$4.99. I found the movie depressing and slow. If you watch it it will be nice to see what you think. Sorry I watched it.

My husband and I thought Manchester by the Sea was one of the worst movies EVER! We turned it off after 25 minutes.
I loved Z — the movie about Zelda Fitzgerald, though.

Cannot recommend Manchester by the Sea. It was the first of the award winners we were excited to watch and the WORST of all the subsequent award winners we’ve watched. Purely AWFUL! Too bad I’m not a quitter. Kept hoping… That’s two hours of my life I can never get back!! đ

Cannot recommend Moonlight either. Second only to Manchester by the Sea, maybe the most awful movie I’ve ever seen.

I saw the movie, Manchester by the Sea, on a flight this week. I did not like the movie. It was very sad and unresolved. I would not recommend it. However, I did watch a very good movie, Allied. It is a Brad Pitt movie set in World War 11. I highly recommend this movie. Hope you get a chance to see it.

Manchester- very dark and sad but it’s supposed to be! The gut wrenching pain this guy goes through. You have to be in kind of a quiet mood, but very good, still. As a mom, I can’t imagine.
Moonlight- same feeling, but it’s a “thinker” movie. You just keep thinking about it after you see it, one of THOSE! Well written and acted. Inner city life is tough and all the things this kid goes through, from childhood to being a man, SO interesting. I will see this one again, for sure!
Not all movies are meant to be rainbows and cupcakes. These two are neither but still worth seeing, IMO.
