Sweet, sweet Lucy. Poor thing, she wants to go play in the backyard so bad but with all the compost on the lawn, we can’t have her out there or she will just roll in it. 🙁 Maybe I’ll take her for a walk downtown or to the beach today instead. It’s supposed to be a bit cooler. Also, The Girl and I found a local tea house we want to check out so we are excited about that.

What’s new with you? If you are a local, did you have ash on your patio yesterday? Ours had a light dusting because of the forest fires and the sun was an amazing orange color all day. Kinds eerie if you ask me.
