This corn packs some punch.
What I love most about this dish is that you can make it the day before and then quickly reheat it right before you put it on the table. Saves you a bit of time on one of the craziest days in the kitchen!

Okay, I made this tonight (from Trader Joe’s corn) and my 7 year old son said “this is the best corn I’ve ever had”.
So, there you are.
I love your site and reading your stories. I look forward to your email every day (and I’ve lost count of the free/ low price kindle books I’ve purchased). My husband and I have been married 17+ years, and reading your gift of the “corn” really cracked me up. Our gifts to each other last Christmas were a new toilet and a new sink for the bathroom.

Hi, Do you saute tell garlic at all or put it in just raw at the end? Thanks
Mavis Butterfield says
You can saute it, but I just toss it in.

Can this be made the day before and reheated or is it best served inmediately?
Mavis Butterfield says
You can make this ahead of time and heat it up. 🙂

Hi,
How many people does your recipe serve? I am making it for Christmas and there will be 10 people. I am thinking of doubling it.
Thanks.
Mavis Butterfield says
There are approximately 3 cups of corn in a pound, hopefully that will give you a better idea of how much you want to make.

Thanks for getting back to me. One more question. I am going to make it ahead. What is the best way to reheat it? Can it go in the microwave or should it go in the oven? If in the oven what temperature would be best?
Thanks and Merry Christmas!
Mavis Butterfield says
I’d microwave it. 🙂
