This is a great appetizer to bring to a holiday party or to serve at your own. It gets eaten up at every gathering I bring it to. It’s savory and light all at once, and pairs perfectly with some basic crackers or rye bread chips. It’s also fun to experiment with it; I’ve added some red onions or capers or lemon before and it was great. I’ve fiddled with it a few times and it’s hard to go wrong. This version is my favorite though.
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
8 ounces smoked salmon, forked into pieces
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
A few drops of Tabasco sauce {depending on how much heat you like}
1/2 teaspoon dried dill
1 tablespoon green onions, chopped
Directions
Stir cream cheese until soft and then add in remaining ingredients. Mix until well incorporated. Serve with crackers or chips {or so tasty on a bagel!}. Enjoy!
