Solo Pane e Pasticceria in Bath, Maine. Holy canolies people!
I think it’s been pretty well established that I am a big fan of bakeries and that I run on two things; tea and sugar. And well, if you ever make it to Maine, I have another fantastic bakery for you to try.
They have bread, pastries, cake, and always something along the lines of pizza, focaccia or stuffed rolls with meats and cheese. In a nutshell, since we discovered this bakery this past winter, we just can’t get enough of it.
Anytime we are even remotely near Bath, Maine, I make the HH stop for a quick treat. And everytime the offerings are a little different, and that makes the visit all the more fun.
A pastry and a hot cup of tea… It doesn’t get any better than that.
Their almond filled croissants are one of my favorite things to get.
Raspberry tart? Yes please!
Brioche bread, raspberry and almond paste. HOLY COW MAN! They need to make this one into a lotion, or a candle or something.
Solo Pane e Pasticceria in Bath, Maine. Their treats are a 5 out of 5 in my book. I hope you get the chance to visit. 😉

This looks soooooo good. Next time I’m in Bath I shall have to check it out! If you are ever in the Skowhegan area you should try The Bankery. It’s in an old bank building and they’ve kept a lot of the features. Great atmosphere, and so many good things on their menu to choose from! I’ve never been disappointed….

Yes! The Duck Lady and I stopped in there when we were in town visiting Mainae Grains. The baked goods were fantastic and the ice cream sandwiches were crazy good too.

I want all the pastries AND that pocket sandwich or whatever it is with the HAM in it!!!! Oh my it looks good! I wish we had something like that in Missouri!

The bread for that sandwich looks like pan de cristal. King Arthur has a fantastic tutorial for it online. It is so different and was basically fool proof. It’s yummy.
