I served Martha Stewart’s recipe for steamed broccoli with lime dressing the other day and The Girl Who Thinks She’s a Bird absolutely loved it. Can someone please tell me why the really simple recipes are always the best ones?

Ingredients
1 pound broccoli florets
1 tablespoon lime juice
1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
coarse salt to taste
Directions
In a large sauce pan bring 1 inch of water to a boil. Add the broccoli florets, cover, and steam until tender {about 3 minutes}.
In bowl combine the lime juice and sesame oil. Once the broccoli is done cooking, drain and toss the broccoli in the bowl and coat with dressing. Season with salt and serve warm.
