I don’t know about you, but I like to to sleep in on Sundays. Except when there are double coupons at Albertsons of course. So on those particular mornings, I like to make breakfast ahead of time so I don’t have to worry about it when I get back from shopping.
Last night I made a broccoli cheddar quiche. I used the last of our spring broccoli for this savory treat and let me tell you Bob, it turned out great. Not only are quiches perfect for Sunday brunch, but they are hearty enough to pack in your hubby’s lunch the next day. Well, that is if there is anything left over.
Peace Out Girl Scouts, I’m off to do some shopping.

That looks yum. But I think the brownies that I make tonight with the 12 free Milky Ways I’m picking up doubling at Walmart today is gonna be tastier :p Was getting all the doublers cut up this morning and thought something else about the save the drama for your mama wenches – have you ever looked over there since said drama? They have shopping trips that say “wahoo, I saved 54%!” 54%? Are you high? I wouldn’t brag about saving 54%. Things go on sale better than that – LOL! They are dumb. Maybe I’m just mean and cranky this morning. Woke up with a migraine. And have 101 Albies transactions to do pretty soon here. We’ll have to compare notes later 😉 Have a great day, Miss Mavis!

You seriouly crack me up! I love it when you make comments…and you type like I suspect you speak; which I can appreciate too! You could make a great sidekick! Have fun with your doubles…I was the only one in my store this morning and was AMAZED! I loved that I bought $36 worth of groceries for .49 cents…helping out Uncle Sam!

I know, no one was there? It was really odd. Maybe everyone slept in this morning?

I love all the recipes w/photos that you post. Wanted to let you know that the family wanted to make home-made pizza’s for the first time. I told them I had recipe from a lady named Mavis. Well, not only did we all love it…we’ve made it about 5 more times since then! We like to divide it up into individual pizza’s so everyone can have their own toppings. That recipe is a keeper!

I made your cream cheese brownies for a picnic party yesterday, and red white and blue cupcakes with flags on top because I didn’t make them on the 4th, and everyone was impressed.

I love you Helen. 🙂
