“Carve out and claim the time to take to care for yourself and kindle your own fire.” ~ Amy Ippoliti
Hello Friday! Can you believe Christmas is in just a few days? If you’re like me you still have cookies to bake, food to prepare and presents to wrap. That’s of course in addition to all the normal stuff that needs to get done. So make sure you squeeze in a little “me time” and take care of yourself over the next few days.
Stop and have that extra cup of tea, take a quick nap, maybe a 15 minute walk, and just…. breathe. People can feel it when you’re all stressed out, and really, who want’s that? But most of all, remember how lucky you are to be here. To be alive. To have been able to spend another year with your peeps. That is the real gift.
Wishing you the merriest of weekends,

Amen to all of that, Mavis! And a Merry Christmas right back to you… 2018 was a year of *major* change for you, but it sure looks like you are all thriving in your new life. May the new year hold blessings in abundance.

I’ve been following you-literally reading every day-since we moved to Virginia back in… oh, 2010 I think? You’ve been a big influence in my gardening and canning (Christmas Jam is amazing btw!)
Merry Christmas! And thanks for sharing all your knowledge and experiences.
