On our last big stock up of the year at Costco, we picked up a bag of frozen wild sockeye salmon filets. And with just 9 filets in the bag, rationing them out over the winter is going to be hard. Especially after trying the HH’s new teriyaki salmon recipe the other night.
According to the HH, this recipe for teriyaki salmon couldn’t be easier, simply marinade the salmon for a bit, pop it on the oven and dinner is on the table in less than 20 minutes. What’s not to love?
It was perfect in every way. 🙂 I hope you like this recipe as much as we did.

This recipe is for up to 2 pounds of salmon
Ingredients for Marinade
3 Tbsp Teriyaki Sauce {we use Yoshida’s}
3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
3 Tbsp Hoisin Sauce
1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
1/3 cup Packed Light Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp Ground Ginger
Directions
Preheat oven to 385 Degrees
Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and lightly grease it with a bit of canola {or vegetable} oil to prevent sticking.
Combine the ingredients for the marinade in a small bowl and stir until brown sugar has dissolved.
Place the salmon slices in a baking pan or a casserole dish and pour the marinade over the salmon. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and let the salmon marinade for 20 minutes.
Remove the salmon from the marinade and place the salmon slices on to the baking sheet and bake at 385 degrees for 12-15 min or until the salmon is nice and flaky and has been cooked through {bake times can vary depending on the thickness of the salmon slices}.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving {optional}.

Looks yummy!
Can I ask where is the salmon sourced?
So far I only purchase from trader Joes… its from Canada.
So much says wild and it’s not or it comes from China. Yep! I returned my Wild Caught Salmon from Kroger… from China…ugh

Salmon was on the plan for dinner so I did this instead of tossing it on the smoker. YUM! I poured the rest of the marinade over sauted Bok Choy. Perfect meal :_)
