The Girl Who Thinks She’s A Bird and her 3 BFF’s; Little Miss Smarty Pants, The Mathematician & Pocahontas gathered Sunday evening for their annual Christmas cookie baking extravaganza.
They baked…
They decorated…
They sampled…
They wrapped cookies for their teachers…
And after all the work was done… They exchanged presents.
Little Miss Smarty Pants presented The Mathematician with Insults & Comebacks. Ahhh… If you only knew The Mathematician in person. 🙂 She is not only book smart… but is infamous for her comebacks… I have a feeling the book with be read front to back… several hundred times.
Pocahontas received The Spirit of Henna. Another fabulous choice! Pocahontas is a total hippie chic who not only loves thrift stores… but her family does not own a t.v. and thus has a rather creative spirit. So the kit was perfect.
Chances are, there will only be a few more of these parties. In a few years, they will all be off to college. Most likely different ones. I wish I could express to them, how special their bond is. That years from now, they will look back on all their sleepovers, silly adventures, special get togethers and realize… These were some of the best times of their lives. Life is bittersweet. Soak it up.
