We rented the coziest chalet in Charlevoix, Canada and I just had to tell you about it!!
Forget a nice hotel, when you’re traveling with your friends and your dog, sometimes renting a house {or a chalet in this case} just makes more sense.
There’s way more room to gather, spread out and just be more comfortable. Plus having a kitchen is HUGE plus!
I spotted Chez Annie 215 on Airbnb and fell in love with not only the property, but the bedroom upstairs!!
And the kitchen!! Isn’t it a beauty!?
And check out that view of the St. Lawrence River!
I called dibs on the bedroom with the tub as soon as I saw it. I’ve always wanted a tub like that, not necessarily in the bedroom 😉 but somehow in this house it just works.
Another thing I really like about this place are the cement floors. I’m not sure how they’d be during the cold Canadian winter months, but they were really nice to walk on and I would imagine keeping them clean would be pretty easy to do.
I also really like the tile in the shower. It’s not something I would have picked out, but I think the colors go really well together.
Another great feature about this Airbnb is the downstairs living area. There are also 2 more bedrooms downstairs, a bathroom and a laundry room.
So far so good! We have a great place to share with our friends, we’ve found pastries {and local honey!} and are having a great time exploring the area.
Tomorrow I’ll show you an amazing garden we visited over the weekend and explain the entire reason for our trip.
I hope you have a great day wherever you may be.

Always love your choices for Airbnb. What a dreamy bathroom with the double sink vanity!
As for those floors: no doubt there is radiant floor heating installed. I have it throughout my home and it is such a luxury !

Agree about the radiant heat. Toasty in the winter and cool in the summer.

Wow, that is beautiful!
I’m headed to Quebec City in October but we chose to stay at an AirBnB in the city this time. I’m going to bookmark this place for future consideration though!

The bakery to visit is Boulangetie Oli on rue Myrand
Breads & pastries to die for. A local favorite and worth the effort. It’s very small but mighty.

Are you considering a move to Canada??

We have a favorite rental condo complex in Seaside, Oregon, but it irritates me how all the units there sleep six but sometimes the dining room table only seats four. Your choice works much better.

It’s absolutely beautiful and the best part is Lucy got to go too!
