Our floating dock still isn’t in the water. Which is sort of a bummer beacuse it means we can’t use the dinghy until it’s in. We were going to put it in the water last week, but it was too windy and the HH didn’t feel comfortable wrangling it into the water with just the two of us.
So we decided to wait for The Girl to get here so she could help.
But then when we went down to put it in yesterday, the tide wasn’t high enough.
So we decided to go kayaking instead.
With Miss Lucy of course. Because if there’s one thing that dog loves, it’s being out on the water. 🙂
Unplugging, slowing down and soaking it all in.
That’s what it’s all about.
Here’s to a calm and peaceful thursday wherever you may be,

Your Lucy girl sure looks happy! We don’t have to take ours out of the water in the South but a storm broke it loose and twisted it around and up on the shore and it is big with a roof and weighs a ton. Trees also fell across the access to it. What a mess. Estimates to clean it all up were $10K. Seriously? Still don’t know how this is going to get fixed.

Love Lucy’s smile! Reminds me of the doxie we had when I was a kid. She loved swimming and row boating with me.
