One of my favorite things to do in Boston is walk up and down the tree streets and look at all the window boxes.
I could spend HOURS walking along the uneven brick sidewalks. They’re all so different.
And each and every time I visit Boston I have to snap photos for inspiration because I know someday I’ll have a house with window boxes on each and every window.
Dreamy. That’s what the tree streets in Boston are. Just dreamy. Acorn street is my favorite one though. So cozy and private and many of them have little courtyards. A perfect spot for a morning cup of tea… Anytime of year.

I read somewhere when doing window boxes or containers with an array of plants that you should have “a spiller, a thriller, and a filler”. Those boxes are gorgeous!

Charleston, SC is another great place to walk the streets but more to peek through the gates and look at the gorgeous gardens around those amazing historic homes. I loved Boston the two times we visited there as well. My hometown here in SC has giant hanging baskets of flowers and plants lining the downtown streets. They are gorgeous as well.

Also, Charleston is beautiful at Christmas. The flower boxes and decorations of live fruits and plants.

Thanks! We have not been at Christmas. Our son used to live there so it was easy to go visit
