Sandhill preservation center- a family-run farm selling seeds, sweet potato slips, and a huge variety of heritage poultry. Great prices and great seed quality. I’ve ordered from them for years!
Here is their website: http://www.sandhillpreservation.com/

Yes, Woodprairie Farm out of Maine for organic, non-GMO potatoes and a few other vegetables, but mostly potatoes.
I just put in my Botanical Interests seed order. It is embarrassingly large, now that I moved to a farm. We also ordered about thirty fruit and nut trees. I need a nap just thinking about what I’m in for!

30 fruit and nut trees? Is this your forever home Madam Chow? When can I come visit? Ha! I am so excited for you.
Madam Chow says
We hope it will be our forever home! And, yes, you can come and visit, but things are a mess!

Jung Seed!

Last year I was so disappointed with the seeds I received from Botanical Interests. I planted $36 worth of seeds and what did I get? 3 cucumber vines. That sprouted 5 months after planting! 🙁
Mavis Butterfield says
Wow, really? I’ve never had that happen. Please call or send them an email. They will replace you seeds!
Leslie says
Ok- I’ll try it! Thanks

Park Seed in Greenwood, South Carolina is *awesome*! I used to order exclusively from them, and then I found your blog, and now I buy from Botanical Interests too.

if you’re feeling brave (and patient for germination) “plant world seeds” located in the UK but ships to the U.S. has the best variety of perennial seeds I’ve ever seen! They don’t have a ton of veggies, more perennial flowers and grasses.
They have tons of varieties that you won’t find in the nursery, but of course you might need to wait patiently for them to germinate! I was surprised and didn’t find shipping costs to be more than seed companies I’ve ordered from that are stateside.
