I loved Halloween when the kids were little. I loved their costumes. I loved sifting through their candy–for safety purposes only, of course ;). And I loved, loved, loved all of the cute {and scary} costumes that showed up at my door. I still love all things pumpkin, and while I don’t go all out decorating for the holiday, I would if the kids were still around to care–and I WILL when I have grand kids.
First up on the Halloween to-do list is decorating your house for the big day. If you are the type that would rather throw a party than go door to door, I’ve got you covered. These Halloween treats will thrill your party-goers–whatever their age.
How much do you actually know about Halloween? Until I wrote a post on Halloween Trivia, I’ll admit, I didn’t know much at all. Check out the trivia and wow your trick-or-treaters with a little piece of Halloween lore.
Once it is finally to set your critters free to beg for candy, you’ll want to make sure they have fun…and that they are SAFE. Here’s a few Tips for Keeping Halloween Safe for children of all ages.
When it’s all said and done, and you and your family emerge from your semi-diabetic candy coma, ready to purge yourself of over-indulgence, here’s a couple of suggestions on how to use up all of that leftover Halloween candy.
Now all you have to do is come up with a costume idea. Happy Halloween!
