Remember that time I lived off of a 30-day emergency supply of Valley Food Storage food and nothing else? And remember how I survived and actually really liked the food?! Well the peeps at Valley Food Storage sent me a bunch of their freeze dried fruits and vegetables for The Girl and I to try out. And guess what?
WE LOVED IT!
And not just in a it’s-an-emergency-and-you’re-starving sort of way. Like in a we’d-eat-it-every-day sort of way! The Girl loved it so much she wants to buy a bunch for backpack snacks when she gets hungry during classes. Of course, I’d like to stock up on a bunch for food storage purposes. Because let’s be honest, if there is a zombie apocalypse and the world is about to end, I’d really rather be chomping on some tasty food, wouldn’t you?!
Speaking of zombie apocalypses {or you know, emergencies a bit more likely like floods, tornados, etc.}, Valley Food Storage is really the perfect company to get you all stocked up and prepared for it {food wise, not mentally. Although maybe their customer service reps could offer some advice, since they ARE in the emergency food supply business!}.
They have smaller packages of freeze dried fruits and veggies like we just sampled {14 servings each}, and then larger food storage sizes, too. Then they have full food storage supply kits like I lived on for 30 days {and genuinely liked!}.
Just like their full meals and all of their products I’ve tried, I loved their fruits and veggies because they don’t taste like fake food or have any odd chemically taste. That’s probably because they eliminate all the unhealthy preservatives, hydrogenated oils, MSG’s and many other ingredients that limit the nutritional value, shelf life, and taste. It’s high quality, healthy, yummy tasting food. I’m sold!

Does the package of freeze dried strawberries have a weight on it? The website says “14 servings” but no weight. Thanks.

Hi Sue I checked the bag and I didn’t see a weight on there.

I can’t say enough about Valley Food Storage and their great customer service team! After your “30 day trial” I decided to stock up! They honored a discount code from you that had expired and even found a way for me to supply my family of 10 for a full month in an economically reasonable manner!!! Bring on the Zombies!!!

hey mavis, I notice you are talking about your daughter a lot now that Summer is over. Did she go back to college or did she transfer someplace near home? I know you are very close so you probably enjoy having her on the west coast more.

She is back on the West coast to finish school. 🙂
