This week was another ridiculously easy week thanks to all those Safeway catalinas I picked up last week. This whole coupon thing is a game… and each week… the rules change. I personally am up for the never ending challenge when it comes to trying to see how I can feed our family each month for under $100. If only I could convince more people that it’s fun… and not some horrible nightmare to try and match coupons up with sales… I wonder what will happen this summer… when school is out… the garden is in bloom and we’re all sitting around staring at each other. Will I go over budget? Will I spend less? Who knows… All I know right now is that I’m still having fun with this personal challenge of mine… and that… it what matters most to me. Ya know… that I haven’t been hauled off to the loony bin yet.
So here we go…
Fred Meyer $3.74 Last Saturday night I went to buy a bunch of tomatoes because they were on sale for.99 cents a lb. But they were sold out… so I asked for a rain check… and simply went back and bought almost 4lbs worth a few days later.
QFC $1.13
4 bags of FREE chips were also suppose to be in this photo but they were out. And since it was part of their 10 for $10 special the checker still charged me $1.00 for everything and gave me a rain check for the chips. But after the various discounts and coupons I had… I only have to pay $1.13 for all of it.

Rite Aid $6.62
This was kinda spendy… but I had a Save $3 off a $15 purchase coupon and I needed milk. Bronzers were B1G1 and I used 2 $4 off bronzer coupons plus the oreos were free with my milk purchase. Oh well… At least I’ll look tan for a looooong time 🙂

5lbs of chicken, 1/2 and a yogurt. (I used a $10 catalina) I think I must be going blind. Because I keep coming home with fat free half and half… The Handsome Husband spied the carton and freaked out … “What’s the point if it’s FAT FREE”….

5lbs of chicken, 3lbs of strawberries and 3 ears of corn. (I used a $10 catalina).
So that’s it peeps… that’s what I bought.
