And it gets better…
I stayed in my p.j.’s until about 2pm and sipped tea… I layed in bed and clipped a few coupons then surfed the internet for hours on end… The windows were open and I was listening to the birds chirping outside… and the wind was blowing gently. It was pure bliss…
But then it all came to an abrupt end.
Yep… I’m blaming it on Mrs. Active Wear.
She called and wanted to know if I’d like some FREE leftover food from the graduation party they held for Lawn Boy last night.
It was quite the shin dig!
And you know me… I heart FREE FOOD… Yep… looks like we’ll be eating tacos for the next 3 days… And seriously… if I see another cupcake… I’m gonna hurl.
Alright alright… enough about me and my lazy day… Here’s what I picked up this week for el cheapoooo…
I only had to pay.63 tax because I’m a coupon crack head and I’m always filling out offers for free coupons and promotions… I’m thinking the Glade candle will look nice in a Christmas gift basket (if I decided to do them this year).
*$3.00 for 3 pints of Starbucks ice cream…
*3 bottles of FREE KC Masterpiece bbq sauce!
*3 Packages of pork for $2.13 because I used 3 $1/1 off fresh pork coupons that I found in the meat department plus double coupons.
*I used 2 more $1/1 pork coupons plus double coupons and paid only $1.58 for 2lbs of ground pork.
*Hidden Valley dressing was on sale for $2.49 so I used 3 $1/1 coupons and paid $1.47 for 3 bottles.
*$5.00 for 2 bags of Dole salad plus a FREE pineapple and another 3 FREE bottles of bbq sauce.
.99 for a box of 24 Super Hero Popsicles for Monkey Boy at Safeway because I uploaded the $2 off ecoupon from their website.
Winco… no coupons… $5.18. Here’s a tip>>> Do not shop at Winco after 11am on the first day of the month… and that’s all I’m gonna say about that.

I’ve done the deal 3 times so far!
4 FREE Seattle’s Best Iced Coffee’s (6/5 SS) and one $100 gift card to the Home Depot later… I scored my 1st $20 store coupon.
So I bought a bunch of man meat…and only had to pay .14 cents! I’m telling ya… being addicted to coupon crack… is just one magical free food adventure after another…
Oh… and I loaded up on $100 dollars in Joann Fabric gift cards (coupon binder fabric…HELLO…)
Then I picked up 4 packages of Lloyds BBQ ribs (on sale B1G1 FREE) plus 1 ear of corn. After my $20 Albertsons coupon… my total came to .57!
Ummm… then I bought another gift card… (Fall bulbs people… FALL BULBS!)
And then last but not least…. I picked up 5 Hormel Pork Lion Roasts for $5.99 each because they were on Bonus Buy… plus… there were SAVE $2.oo NOW coupons on them… so I was able to pick up 5 Pork roasts (@$3.99 each) plus 1 ear of corn for only .54! Sweet Mother of all things good and almost FREE… what a glorious week at Albertsons!

FYI… I’m going back for more gift cards… just as soon as I get my game plan penciled out. But this time…I plan on stocking up on fruit.

Have a question- We are in So. Ca. I dont know where exactly you live, not that it really matters I think, but our Albertsons doesnt double coupons unless you get the little coupon book they send you and then it only has like 2 double coupons on that back that you pair with another coupon… So, how does that work?

We live in the Seattle area and the only store that doubles is Albertsons. In a few other counties in Washington State Safeway doubles coupons up to .50 but not our county.
I don’t know what to tell you about So Cal Albies… If they don’t have doubles then you’re out of luck. 🙁 That stinks!
