Each week brings it’s own surprises…
I never know what I’m going to end up with… and I think it’s kinda fun that way.
Thanks to Swagbucks… I was able to order 12 8oz. bags of Pita Chips for FREE…
Pita Chips are hands down the best thing to eat with FREE Hummus…
I purchased another $10 gift card to Papa Murphy’s for $5 thru plumdistrict.com on Monday…
If you haven’t signed up for this daily deal site you really should… they have great deals!
I’m thinking the Papa Murphy’s Gift cards are going to come in handy on those nights when I just don’t feel like cooking… or opening a can of soup…
Costco Take & Bake Pizza $7.58
Wholly Crack Batman… I need to stay away from Costco… Seriously… Next time I’ll leave my wallet in the car and just go in for the free samples at lunch time…
Costco Lettuce & Strawberries $7.98
What was I thinking???
Rite Aid .23 cents (used the last of my Up Rewards)
$2.04
.57 cents
$1.09
FREE Pasta
Free
Free plus a $6 money maker
I should of paid $3.00 + tax for these….
But… I was able to get my total down a little further… I used 2 reusable bags -.10 cents, overage from 4 fruit strips -.44 cents, then the cashier messed up and somehow gave me an extra -$1.00 off and when she called the supervisor over the boss said “don’t worry about it”… and then… I ended up using the balance of my #2 of 3 $5 gift cards up (leaving me with 1 more to use) so I think I actually paid around $1.00 or something… I have no idea…
All I know is..
By the end of the week…
After I factored in my extra $6 from the Snapple rebate deal… I ended the week with $1.60 in cash… .09 cents on the Albertson’s gift card and a $10 catalina.
*************
Are you confused?
Well I’m not… it makes perfect sense to me…luckily 🙂
I had to “borrow” money from the next weeks grocery budget to pay for the Snapple deal…
I went ahead and factored in my rebate of $16 dollars to make the math easy to understand.
*****
So just in case you’re wondering…
I’ll be starting off next week with the following in my arsenal:
$13.07 in cash
$10.00 Albertsons Catalina
Hopefully I can find a good deal on chicken… as we are down to our last package of frozen chicken breasts in the freezer… and we looooove our chicken! I’m also hoping to work some produce and butter into some of my deals… but who knows…I’ll just have to wait and see what happens…
