No epic coupon tales to tell of…
What I should of done was bought 2 bottles Maalox… (it was on sale for $4.99 and I had a $5 off coupon PLUS I would of received another $1 up Reward)… but somehow I messed up.
So… I ended up paying $9.49 out of pocket…
and went home with $16 in Up Rewards…
$10 catalina’s are hard to use…
Why?
Because… you have to get your total (after coupons) up to $10 to use it.
Pot roast was on sale for $2.99 a lb and since we hadn’t had it in awhile I decided to splurge and buy one. For the above transaction I ended up spending $11.64 ($1.64 cash, $10 catalina)
So at this point I was left with $1.94 for the rest of the week.
I was pretty sure I’d be dipping into Mr. Piggy’s Bank to get thru the rest of the week… after all I still had 2 more days of double coupon days at Albertson’s to use to my advantage.
Later… I went back to Rite Aid and used some of my Up Rewards
And scored all the above for only .20 cents out of pocket…
Albertson’s $1.67
One of the shopper cards I have in my wallet it a Fred Meyer Card…
The prices at the grocery store are the same whether you use their card or not… BUT… if you have the card… every 3 months they will send you a rebate card (and a few coupons) for 1% of the purchases you made in the previous 3 months.
As you can see I earned a $6.24 rebate… You’d think that meant I spent $624 at Fred Meyer over the past 3 months…I did… BUT that was my total BEFORE coupons… It’s kinda weird how I can earn a refund for something I get for FREE… Just like the other day… when I used my rebate card and coupons to score the above products for FREE…
I still earned 9 points… weird.

By Monday morning…
I had the following in my wallet…
$5 in Up Rewards,
$1.20 Fred Meyer Rebate,
.07 cents
Cheap Pizza with my Papa Murphy’s gift card from Plum District
FREE
FREE
FREE Panera Bread thanks to my Christmas Gift Cards…
FREE Clorox Wipes from Target…
Did you notice the .50 cent off TARGET coupon for Finish dishwasher detergent?
Well I did… I was able to make .25 cents off each box of Finish detergent… which came to and extra $3.00 overage to spend at Target…
So I decided to splurge a little and combine the $3.00 overage with my $1.00 off Tazo tea coupons to score 12 boxes of detergent (still had to pay tax) and 3 boxes of my FAVORITE Tazo tea…
For a whopping $4.28…
Which I paid for of course with my (the Handsome Husbands) last $5 Target gift card from the Christmas Party…
So all in all… a good week in the bargain department…
I finished the week with a donation of .07 cents to Mr. Piggy’s Belly,
A balance of .72 cents on my LAST Target gift card,
And have a remaining balance of $1.20 on my Fred Meyer Rebate.
How about you?
Did you score any great deals this past week?
